Riverport is equipped to accommodate large
volumes of products. Here are some photos and descriptions
of some of our major facilities:
 |
125-ton American crane uses a five-yard clam bucket to
off-load bulk aggregates, grains, ores and fertilizers. |
 |
Unit trains and trucks dump grains into
this large capacity hopper facility. |
 |
With easy access to interstate highways
and parkways, the Riverport is an ideal location for
distribution via truck. |
 |
The Port's agri facilities allow for direct
rail and truck-to-barge loading... and movement of
liquid fertilizers. |
 |
18 towboat companies provide service along
the Paducah Riverfront... once of the busiest inland
ports in the U.S.A. |
 |
The Riverport can stockpile large volumes
of materials - such as these aluminum ingots - on over
27 acres of outdoor storage area. |
 |
The Port provides unloading services for
bulk shipment aggregates and grains. |
 |
This warehouse - connected to the bulk
dock over 1,500 feet away via conveyor - can store up
to 10,500 tons of fertilizers. |
 |
A rolling fleet of loaders, forklifts,
trucks and portable conveyors transport goods throughout
the 48-acre Riverport site. |
 |
The Riverport provides packaging and distribution
of bulk products... from 100 lb. to 4,000 lb. bags. |
 |
A network of 30-inch conveyors connects bulk shipments
with various warehouse and outdoor storage areas. The belt
systems can move up to 500 tons per hour. |
 |
Conveyor system allows for loading of
aggregates into trucks or trains for distribution throughout
mid-America. |
 |
Liquid fertilizers, solvents and petroleum products are
moved through the Port's 2,600,200-gallon capacity tanks. |
 |
A 20-ton Linden crane - and a 25,000 sq. ft. concrete
staging area - allow for movement of large scale goods
such as these hardwood logs. |
